PDFLUME / TRUST & TRANSPARENCY
Terms of use
Use the tools responsibly, keep your originals and review your results.

The service
PDFLume is an independently operated project based in Shenzhen, China. Contact: support@pdflume.com.
PDFLume provides browser tools to combine images into PDFs, merge or split PDFs, export PDF pages as PNG or JPG, and extract selectable PDF text into Markdown. No account or payment is required for the current browser tools. The desktop beta is a separate product in development.
Files you have permission to process
Only process files you own or are authorized to use. You retain your rights in your files and results. Do not use PDFLume to infringe others’ rights, interfere with the service, distribute malicious content or bypass technical limits.
Review the output
Keep an original copy. Conversion can change formatting, metadata or document features. Markdown extraction does not include OCR and may not preserve tables, columns or reading order. Exporting images does not remove painted-in backgrounds. Validate any output before relying on it or sharing it.
Availability and limits
Processing depends on your browser, available memory and the input file. We apply file, page, output and time limits to keep the tools usable. We may change features or limits and cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every document will convert successfully. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
Privacy and external services
Our privacy policy explains local processing and website requests. External services, including any service you send output to, operate under their own terms. PDFLume does not endorse or control those services merely by linking to them.
Questions and updates
Use our contact page for support or questions. Changes to these terms will be published here with an updated date.
